The Golf Club at Devils Tower Named a Golf Digest Top Ten

The Golf Club at Devils Tower was recently named one of the top 10 new public courses in the country by Golf Digest magazine.

The ranking was announced in Golf Digest’s January 2008 issue. The Golf Club at Devils Tower fell among the ranks of golf courses designed by Tom Fazio, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus.

The award is a testament to our two architects, Kevin Atkinson and Dick Phelps, who have skillfully designed a challenging and strikingly beautiful premier course.

Golf Digest names America’s Best New Courses every year. The Golf Club at Devils Tower was judged by more than 800 nationwide raters judged on shot values, variety, memorability, resistance to scoring and aesthetics. Our club was named 7th in the Top 10 Public Courses Above $75 category.

Exclusivity

The Club Goes Private

November marked a new era for The Golf Club at Devils Tower. We announced plans to move forward in becoming a private course – offering equity memberships and an exclusive community.

Our new private golf club features an 18-hole championship golf course, as well as future plans for uniquely situated cabin and home sites nestled in the tall pines, red rim rock and rustic terrain. We’ve begun plans for a clubhouse and recreation center that open up to a panoramic view of Devils Tower and the natural beauty of the area.

We are now accepting founding memberships with an overall goal of 450 members in the next 5 years. For more information on joining The Golf Club at Devils Tower, please contact
Brian Carmichael at 307-467-5463.

Clubhouse Expansions

We will soon expand our clubhouse with the addition of a 1000-foot Club Room. The Club Room will provide view out over the course, and will serve as a lounging area for members after a round of golf.

In addition, our clubhouse restaurant has a new name: McAvoy’s. With the new name we also welcome Chef ReNette Penning. Penning brings a variety of specialty items to the menu, including rubbed prime rib, sandwiches and homemade deserts.
